As our 2023 - 2024 Board elections are underway, we currently have roles without nominations.  The FGSA Board members are all volunteers - parents who have daughters playing in their first, second, or eighth year - and even some parents with girls in college!  The league couldn’t operate without help from these volunteers.

Current Board openings include the following critical positions:

Director of Communications/Website

The Director of Communications/Website manages FGSA's website content, email communications, and social media channels, keeping our families apprised of important updates and how much fun the players are having! This role works most closely with the President, the Director of Fundraising & Sponsorships, and high school volunteers who assist with social media content.

Director of Intermediates (First and Second Grade)

Division Directors coordinate the Spring Recreational season for their respective age group. This includes creating teams, selecting head and assistant coaches, hosting division practice (including preseason when available) and communicating game schedules, and communicating important information about the season to coaches and FGSA families. The Division Directors work most closely with the Vice President and Director of Uniforms. Great entry point for new board members!

There is no experience required, just a desire to help your daughter’s softball league grow and thrive.  We are a fun group who work together and support each other to make the league a positive experience for all who play.  Come join us!
