Fall is a great time for skill development with friends.  FGSA is excited to announce our seven week Fall 2024 Rec Skills & Drills Program, which will take place Saturdays through the fall.  We have something for players in grades Pre-K through 5th - read below and register today!

Program Information

Dates: Saturday, September 7th - Saturday, October 26th 

(weather permitting; no session over the holiday weekend - October 12th).

Location: Pisani 1 and 2.

Registration opens today and closes Friday, September 6th. 

Cost: $50.  

Interested players can register on our website, www.fgsafastpitch.org.

Participants will receive a Fall Ball t-shirt at the end of the sessions!

Volunteers are needed and appreciated.

Pre-K through 2nd Grade: 1:30 - 2:30 PM

3rd - 5th Grade: 3 - 4:15 PM

Program Description

The fall ball clinics are designed to provide players of all skill levels with the opportunity to develop their skills and enjoy the game in a supportive and competitive environment. 

Fall ball clinics include weekly practices with a heavy focus on defensive skills and fundamentals such fielding, throwing, and situational awareness, appropriate to each division.  Players will learn hitting fundamentals and mechanics through the use of productive tee work.  A pitching machine will be introduced for players in the minors division and up.  

Occasional scrimmages will allow the players to practice what they have learned. 

Fall ball clinics emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

We’d love to see many of our Spring Recreation players join us for Fall Ball - it’s a fun way to continue working on skills while the weather allows!
